Criteria & Application for Affiliate Status

Full members of the CCCU are accredited four-year institutions focused on undergraduate education in the liberal arts tradition and must be located in North America. Each of the current full members meet specific criteria including comprehensive curriculum requirements outlined in the member application and has a continuing policy of hiring to full-time faculty and administrative positions only persons who profess faith in Jesus Christ.

On the other hand, the Council also has an Affiliate status.  Affiliate institutions may include:
  • Institutions which do not fully meet member curricula or hiring criteria
  • Institutions which are not primarily four-year undergraduate colleges
  • Institutions outside North America
