All conference sessions and events will take place at the Atlanta Buckhead Hotel & Conference Center, the ideal location for experiencing the best of Atlanta. The hotel offers a host of amenities and services, from views and casual dining to a fully equipped fitness center. It is located steps from Phipps Plaza, Lenox Square and the Lenox MARTA Station that provides easy access to the heart of the city.

**As of December 17, 2024, the Atlanta Marriott Buckhead Hotel & Conference Center will no longer be part of the Marriott portfolio. This is a standard administrative function related to Marriott’s flag change procedure. It does not affect the CCCU 2025 Multi-Academic Conference.

  • What This Means for MAC Attendees:
    • No action is required from attendees. The conference remains unaffected by this transition.
    • Reservations & Rates: All existing reservations, including negotiated rates, remain intact and fully honored.
    • Property Name Change: The hotel will operate under a new name—Atlanta Buckhead Hotel & Conference Center—but the high level of service and the conference arrangements will remain unchanged.
  • Marriott Bonvoy & Gift Certificates:
    • You may have already received notifications about Marriott Bonvoy points and gift certificates. This is part of the standard process and does not impact your MAC registration. 
    • Marriott Bonvoy points and elite night credits will no longer be earned after December 16, 2024.
    • Marriott gift certificates and gift cards will no longer be accepted after December 16, 2024.

Thank you for your commitment to the CCCU. We will continue working with the Atlanta Buckhead Hotel & Conference Center to ensure smooth coordination of the Multi-Academic Conference.

Your registration fee includes:

Access to all conference sessions, meals, and materials.

REGISTRATION ELIGIBILITY AND PROCESS
CCCU conferences and events are a benefit to faculty, staff, and administrators at our CCCU institutions and are closed to non-member individuals and institutions unless they are sponsors or speakers. There are some exceptions to this rule, so if you are a non-member interested in attending, please send your request to conferences@cccu.org.

If you are a sponsor who would like to register additional staff not included in your complimentary registration count, please contact Wanda Velez at WVelez@cccu.org in order to register.

All registrations are reviewed to ensure they meet the CCCU’s eligibility policies. The CCCU reserves the right to refuse or cancel all ineligible registrations at any time and shall not be held accountable for any outside fees associated with this cancellation.

Only individuals who register and present a badge may attend conference events. A badge is required for all conference sessions and events. For security reasons, badge swapping is not permitted. Anyone found wearing a badge that does not match his/her identification will be removed from the conference without a refund. In addition, the badge/name will be cancelled without a refund.

HOW TO REGISTER
Click the Register button and sign in to your CCCU account. If you have any issues or if you forgot your login information, please call our office at (202) 546-8713 for assistance.

By registering for the conference, you are providing permission to receive emails and mailings related to the conference. If you would like to opt-out from receiving the eAdvance Newsletter or if you wish to no longer receive emails from the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities, update your preferences by logging into your MyCCCU account.

Full payment must accompany your registration. Please call the CCCU office at (202) 546-8713 if you need to make payment by check.

CANCELLATION POLICY
You may cancel your registration at any time prior to the start of the program. If you must cancel, email conferences@cccu.org. Full refunds will be given for cancellations received by close of business December 13, 2024. Refunds for cancellations received after December 13, 2024, will be issued minus a $50 processing fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after December 27, 2024. Substitutions will be honored at any time. No-shows are not refunded.

PHOTO/VIDEO DISCLAIMER
By attending this event, you agree that your image may be used at any time, without further notification, for printed materials, website, social media, and other marketing purposes. If you would prefer, we not use any photo or video that includes you, please email conferences@cccu.org.

HOTEL RESERVATIONS

**The Atlanta Buckhead is experiencing technical difficulties with guest registrations because of the rebranding from the Marriott portfolio to an independent property. As a result, the CCCU will pause the hotel registration section of the site for the Multi-Academic Conferences until the new hotel registration system goes live on Thursday, December 26, 2025.

You may continue to register for MAC 1 and 2 during the pause, as the transition to the new hotel system will have no effect on your registration for the conference. When the new system goes live on December 26, you may resume making your hotel reservation with ease.

We apologize for the temporary inconvenience and look forward to a time of professional development, networking and spiritual encouragement when we meet in Atlanta in February.**

The cut-off date to reserve your hotel room at the discounted group rate is February 3, 2025. Room reservation requests after this date may be subject to hotel availability at the standard rate. Because of limited availability, we advise making your reservation as soon as possible.

You are not required to register for the conference prior to reserving your room at the Buckhead Hotel & Conference Center, but we will be cross-checking the hotel rooming list against registered attendees. Room reservations could be subject to cancellation if you are not registered for the meeting by February 3, 2024. We would appreciate your support by booking within the CCCU block at the hotel so that we can fulfill our obligation to our hotel partner.

TRANSPORTATION
The Atlanta area is served by Hartsfield-Jackson International located approximately 30 minutes from the Atlanta Buckhead Hotel & Conference Center. One-way travel to the hotel is $45 to $65 by Uber/Lyft depending on the time of travel and $50 to $75 by taxi. The Atlanta Buckhead Hotel & Conference Center is also accessible via MARTA, Atlanta’s public transportation system. For information on travel by MARTA, please go to itsmarta.com.
