OVERVIEW

The 2025 Executive Women Leaders Institute (EWL) theme is “Leading in Disruptive Times.”

This gathering is designed to provide a group of Executive Women Leaders from across Christian higher education with an environment of reflection, shared learning, and restoration in the midst of this season of multi-level disruption. In our home institutions, our communities, our lives, and across the world, constant challenges and disruptions have become the norm. For women executives, finding ways to lead ourselves and lead our communities in a chaotic world requires a clear mind, vigilant and discerning reflection, and practical skills necessary for leading well.

Experienced facilitators will guide discussions, exercises, and networking, along with prayers with the goal of restoring and equipping women in leadership to  re-enter their work environments ready to lead well.

PARTICIPATION

Women who serve in executive leadership in a CCCU institution, typically meaning service in a cabinet-level and supervisory role, are invited and encouraged to register.

No application process is required, although adherence to the stated composition of “Executive Women Leaders” will be vetted. Questions may be directed to Dr. Karen Longman, CCCU Senior Fellow, at klongman@apu.edu.

Additional information can be found on the dedicated EWIL page here.
